Thanks Dawgfish and daboyz. Almost half way to the finish line. I have been tracking number 3 in the race and he is gaining ground on number 2 pretty good. It ill be interesting, I think he might be the new number 2 next week.

That should sound sweet! Two other 5814s I really liked with the Amp 1 were the RCA TM BP 5814s and the CBS Hytron 5814s. If you find you would still like a little more bass, the RCA TM BP 5814 is the tube to use. The CBS will give you more midrange sweetness and extended highs.
