    Default What rears to get?

    Hello All.

    I got a pair or RTiA9 for my fronts bi-amped, CSiA6 for my center channel and a 10 inch Boston Acoustics sub ASW 650 so far.
    Now I am in the market for the rest of my 5.1.

    Do you guys think that I should go for the RTiA5s or a pair of F/XiA6?

    The space is not an issue, price wise it will cost about the same because I would have to get stands for the F/XiA6.

    I got the system powered by an Pioneer Elite SC-65 receiver and a Panasonic TC-P60GT50 plasma.

    FX series will give you more of a 'surround sound' type as they are not pointed right at you. RT bookshelves will give you more directional sound.

    Welcome. On my main HT rig I use some old Polks. RT2000p, you can look them up and notice they were once about $1k each and now be had for a couple of hundred a pair. Each tower has 2 8" powered sub-woofers which really add to the base experience, they can be moved around some and do not have to be mounted on the walls or placed on stands. Food for thought, and they are easy to power whereas the RTI a towers require substantial power which could put you over the top on your AVR power. Just my .02 worth.

    Thanks for the advice, I will go for the F/XiA6.

    Does anybody know what brand or type of speaker stands I should get that will complement the A6?

    Can't you mount them on the wall, they seem to work best in my situation mounted a little (two to three feet) my seated listening level

    I love the Panasonic gt50, the reason that I dint go for the vt50 was simply the price. It was almost a grand more.
    My friend has a vt50 55 inch and to tell you the truth its not worth the higher price.
    The blacks might be a little darker and it has a single pane glass.
