    Eagles "Hotel California" (Live Version)
Pink Floyd "Great Gig In The Sky" (High Res)

A short, good one note system resolution test is in Pink Floyd / The Wall; The simultaneous kick drum/choked snare at the beginning of The Happiest Days Of Our Lives.

We do have an "Official Demo Song" Thread already:

Ah, didn't see that before. Looks like it hasn't been posted to in over 4 months - maybe the recommended format is a bit too complicated.

May take a bit more time to post something you are enthusiastic about or want to share - but it gives readers more info WHY you recommend a song for a demo.

Sometimes folks will simply post about a song or artist they like but the cd/lp/rip sounds crummy - not the point - it has to sound good and SOUND GOOD! to be a 'demo' track.

Well, mainly a demo track has to highlight one or more of a system's strong points (e.g. soundstage, imaging, bass extension, transparency, noise floor, dynamics, etc.).

    Agree!

That's why I like to ready WHY someone thinks a song makes for a demo track.

Just saying I like "fill song here" as a demo track doesn't give me enough info.
