janmike, what about getting a group buy going. I would take 2 sets of 8. I have not found a better spike and at their price.

It's within an inch, so I guess it was about an inch or so low with the stock feet. Perhaps the pic is misleading, they are 3.5" higher than stock. Either way, sound is much improved with the "Tall" spikes in my set-up.

Grant was stocking his spikes in 1/4-20 for a while because of the all the requests from Polkies, then after he started to stock them, the demand disappeared. At least that is how it was explained to me.

You must be very tall or have high seating. 3.5 inches is just way too high.

Ya a bit of both. At 17' listening distance I would think that 2-3" inches in height should not make a difference. If it does it would indicate a VERY small sweet spot indeed. I will listen with a phone book under me for a few sessions and see if it "helps". lol
I got the tape measure out, btw, and my ears are in fact 2" below the 3rd tweeter down. I have never heard that on the big sda's that your ear is supposed to be at "exactly" ear level of the 3rd tweeter.

I did Ken, I thought they might be to small but they are perfect for the 90s in my room but the carpet is not very deep so YMMV.

    LS90 threads are 1/4 -20 which required me to buy the 6mm to 1/4 - 20 adapters.
