psw-404 or 303?

Hey people! Just looking for someone who has tried the psw-404 and the 303 or own either and trying to get some opinions on them cause im trying to find out if the 404 is noticeably better. Thanks for all your opinions.:D

I haven't heard the 404, just the 303 but in Canada there are better deals for subs. I would recommend that you audition the Paradigm subs or check out a sub from www.creativesound.ca . If you like the polk better then go with it but I'm just throwing some suggestions out.

The 303 and 404 really sound pretty similar unless you are listening to something with low bass or pretty loud or if you are in a large room. If anyof those 3 are occurring, the 404 will seperate itself and show its value. I'd go with the 404 since it's not really that much more in the long run.

I have the 404, quite happy with it.

To date I've lost 1 eardrum, 3 small woodland animals and 4 kidney stones.

I've heard both. The 404 is much better. I don't recommend the 303 for people who watch a lot of movies. However, the 303 would be fine for a dorm room.

Ok thanks for all your opinions but yesterday I tried a different sub and I auctually like that one better lol. Its a Velodyne cht-10 and I find that it sounds richer and like its not struggling to produce bass (even though the 404 hardly struggles to produce bass). The cht-10 is only 50 bucks more so I think i'll have to go for that. Sorry polk lol. Thanks again for all your posts.
