So i've been a user of digital music for a some time but recently I've had the urge to start a music collection, since in the future I may lose most of my digital music library (like problems with my hard drive or something). My main problem is to choose between cd and vinyl since what I would be looking for was music that in some point influenced me, during my lifetime. And what I mean by that is mainly albums from 2000 to the present (since i am only 20 years old). I've made some research and saw that getting old vinyls (classics from the Beatles or Pink Floyd) was not that hard, but finding recent albums appeared to be a whole lot harder (and expensive!). In the other hand getting CD's is easier and cheaper, but that "vinyl feeling" kinda disappears. I don't know if I'm making my self clear but nevertheless I hope to get some help !
Btw, my dad owns a big vinyl collection so the turntable wouldn't be a problem.
Thanks in advance ;)
