$350,000.00 price tag is a reference for comparing top end cables from other competing manufacturers. In other words comparing manufacturer price. Parts on this cable itself cost 15 times or more. You gotta put in the labor cost. Patrick underprices his stuff because most people can't afford $300,000~ $1 mil on a cable. You can see that some of his models do not have introductory price. The full price you have to pay is $1,000,000.00 for an Adria Power 7m for example. I did some digging and some of his customers are multi millionaires. He is also very helpful and gives us discounts as much as he can so us poor folks can have a piece too, the lower / mid ends.

^Poor folks? Anyone who can drop 3k on a powercable isnt a "poor" folk IMHO.

Plus here's my question, how much silver or gold content is in that cable for that price? For that amount you could almost run a non plated silver cable to your speakers....

For 300,000 to 1 million that better be a 0 gauge set of 3 solid core silver wires in that cable.....

P.S. welcome to the bozo list cheezy...

This is a perfect example of someone who shouldn't be on any forum. Eventually, someone's going to take Patrick's word for truth and blow all his money on worthless items covered in dog ****. I hoped he had disappeared for good, but it looks like someone let him out of the closet again.

For anyone new to the game, please disregard all the ignorance he spews.

Patrick is a failure in virtually every sense of the word.
I would tend to believe the claims of actual eletrical engineers that work for the big name manufacturers over a college drop out who believes using coconut husks and play dough will make a difference in audio quality.

As stated before, this cheezy character is delusional at best and a paranoid schizophrenic at worst. Probably the least useful poster to ever troll these forums.

Compared to people that can afford million dollar cables this is poor. Besides, it all depends on your mind no matter how much or little money you have. If you can't afford it? SAVE IT and buy it later. That's what I do. I normally put $1000~ 1500 down. Pay the rest via monthly installments. The beauty about Patrick's system is that he charges no interest, for now that is. Since I'm so happy with the performance of his cables some day I may just send him 100 bucks so he can go out with his wife for a dinner..Just to show him as my deep appreciation. :) I can't send money now I'm broke.

Plus here's my question, how much silver or gold content is in that cable for that price? For that amount you could almost run a non plated silver cable to your speakers....
NONE. It uses 5 x solid pure copper conductors and surrounded by Piezoelectric Quarts Crystals tuned at every stages during build process. High purity Quartz crystals are more expensive than the diamonds.

Problem with silver core is that while it does have silky shiny details in the upper frequencies it doesn't have meat-pounding bass or impact and lacks detail and resolution in the lower frequencies. Solid copper does well in the lower frequencies with more punch but it lacks high frequencies and silkiness. White Night Power cable does BOTH AND with better sound in both ends of the spectrum with more silkiness, crystal clarity, transparency , micro details, and greater depth across the entire spectrum.

For 300,000 to 1 million that better be a 0 gauge set of 3 solid core silver wires in that cable.....
Adria Power has the following spec:

    10 meter
    Weight: 11 kg
5x 13awg solid core copper conductors
    100% coverage thick aluminum shield
4-stage Athena Crystal formula (full coverage) (0.01g accuracy)
2-stage Athena liquification buffering rings (0.01g accuracy)
2-stage Athena liquification plug resonance dampening (0.01g accuracy)
2-stage Athena liquification plates (0.01g accuracy)
Silver powder 3D shield for high frequencies
Black crystal shielding for low frequencies
    Whitewood tree fibers
    Furutech Rhodium plated plugs
    Extra long burn-in

Most of the money is on the crystal formula and extra cleaning stages. There is no discount on this one. You have to pay the full price One million dollars.

This is not suitable for the rookies. It's difficult to swallow this information. I too had difficulty swallowing a few years ago. Glad I took a shot at it and found myself in heaven, or alien planet.

    Haha!

Funny how Cheezy tried to be a totally different person until now!
I used to follow Patrick's forum on Audio Asylum, just to see, until they canceled it.

    Then it hit me!
Cheezy followed him around everywhere on the net, Crazy exhanges on YouTube, ect.
    EXCEPT ON AA!
Weird that since Patrick HAD his own forum on AA, yet Cheezy NEVER POSTED a single time, even when Patrick was begging for food and wanting to trade cables for Food!!
The entire forum was just Patrick posting to himself (nobody else bothered).

Big fan of Patrick's cables Cheezy?
Yet never posted on the Coconut Audio forum?

    Imagine that!

Rumor has it that illegal aliens spraying Lemon Pledge on a Pangea cable outperforms a Coconut Audio cable with coconut paste and alien crystals.

It's no rumor BF. I know as I am an illegal alien who has used Lemon Pledge on a Panga power cable. It does wonders (but only for illegal aliens).**

**Disclaimer:NONE of the above is false. It's all true. And by true I mean false, but I am lying about it being true. So it's really false. Got it?

You guys play with words a lot better than I can. I thought I came in here to entertain cool Polk folks but it seems I am being entertained by them. This is going backwards.

Default Let's Get This thread Back on Track -- At Least for One Post

After post #38 above, this thread kind of went off track. Let me try to get it going in the right direction, at least for a bit.

When I reported on my completion of the shotgun Supra LoRad PCs for my CD player and preamp, I didn't post any pictures of the final terminations of the cables because I had to install them with the IEC end unterminated so that I could get the cables through a cabinet base and the floor below.

Well, in honor of pepster's comment about my first cable-build project (In essence, "If there are no pictures, it didn't happen."), I'm posting some pictures of the terminations of the installed PCs. The cable with the red marker is marked to indicate that it serves the CD player.

The picture below shows the male plugs sitting on top of the Silver Circle Pure Power One 5.0 into which they are plugged.

The next two show the PC for the CD plaver connected to my burn-in box from pepster, which is also connected to a lamp with a three-way bulb (50-100-150 watts) that I am using to give the cables a good burn in over a couple of nights. Pepster quite rightly chastised me for NOT using his burn-in box in the first instance. It is simple and effective, and impatience to listen is no excuse for not taking the right course immediately. However, I think I can remedy my transgression in this manner!

By the way, building these two PCs myself cost me just under $700, all in. They sound great, and I expect them to sound really great after proper burn-in time. (I don't count my time as worth much, because I'm just an old, retired guy!)

To top it all off, they didn't cost me $1,000,000, and I had the considerable satisfaction of doing it myself. As old Ben said, "Cut your own wood, and it warms you twice."

Cheers, guys! Onward and upward to another enlightening and entertaining cable discussion!

Thank you, and thank you for your interest and advice.

I'm very happy with the improvement in the sound over the stock cables, as well as over the 10AWG Carroll Cable DIY cables I made as a "test" run before making these with the double run of Supra LoRad cable and Furutech connectors. And I haven't even completed burn-in with the burn-in box I got from pepster.

Cheers, guys! Onward and upward to another enlightening and entertaining cable discussion!
Nice mod. How do you like the sound quality so far? Please share your experience.

    thanks,

I need one for my TV. Unfortunately the input on the TV is too small for any aftermarket cable with big plugs to fit... I need a custom made power cord. But I don't make one myself. I let the professionals handle that.

Seriously, I would like OP to tell us how the music sounds now. The burn-in should be completed by now. Tell us how it sounds. More detail would be great as I am curious. :)

To you, Cheezy, I am sorry to report that the PCs I built sound "ghetto" or, perhaps, cheezy is a more highly technical, accurate, and apt description. I would strongly advise you to let the professionals do it to, no for you. I am convinced by your prior posts that your spending $1.0 million (or thereabouts) for a really first rate PC would be well worth the money you spent on it.

With respect to a new cable for your TV: I suggest that you take it to Best Buy and ask them to fulfill your requirements. As I understand it, their Geek Squad guys are really first rate. However, I don't know whether they can deal in Athena liquification plates and black crystal shielding, which appear to be among your technical requirements for full customer satisfaction.

    Just my humble opinion.

I would not even consider putting ANY power cable that cost under $550,000.00 on a TV!
    Never would, never will.
