    Default Ahhh the Irony!

    Just finding my way around here.

    As a newbie, of course, the most interesting area would be the flea market- maybe I could get a great deal on new audio gear and I'd have something interesting to write about! But I need to write 100 posts before I'll qualify to shop there.

    It seems a bit ironic, and that it might encourage folks like me to post unnecessarily, superfluously and redundantly just to get a 100 score. Am I alone in wondering about this?

    the search feature works with less than 100 posts. try it and you will find a ton of threads discussing the issues. it really has been talked to death around here.

    I was just wondering the same thing as well. I have a long way to go. I was hoping to find some good gear in the flea market. oh well, i will have to use ebay,audiogon, craigslist or something else for now

    The Flea Market is for contributing members, not for newbies looking for a deal or to dump their gear. You may not like it, but that's the way it is.
