Anybody have a good source for a cool but simple on off button for a DIY amp?
I would like it to be a round brush nickel button with/without a blue light around the button.
I have googled and searched but I have come up empty.
Thanks,
Scott

Short answer - no I don't.
Slightly longer answer: Here are two - potentially - good places to look (if you haven't already):
www.allelectronics.com
www.partsconnexion.com
EDIT: Towson, eh? I went to high school in Towson :-)
oh, another potential source - www.tubesandmore.com

I used this switch on my preamp, and it works great and is quite bright; only requires 120v source to power the LEDs which is nice. Black body is not my favorite, but switch is cheap is works well.
I have one exactly like you are talking about in my DIY DAC, but green instead of blue that I got from mouser. I don't remember the manufacturer, but I'll try to search it out. I bought it over 2 years ago, so I don't know if they still carry it or not. I know it came in blue as well. Let me check and I'll post again if I find it.
Does it need to be single pole or double pole, or what configuration? The one I have is DPDT.
I found these, but they are all SPST. Hopefully one of these works: http://www.mouser.com/Schurter/Elect...z0z810&FS=True
It's similar to the switch I used.
Nope, got it. It's just like this one:http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...KOxSsu7DrTqjuz

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:

Nope! It's the one in the above post that you want (I believe).

Wiring up a touch mount switch would be pretty cool on an amp.
