    I'd say 200-300! With 300 being a little high because these receivers are sometimes discounted NEW for 299. Or at least they used to be?

    I ended up getting a NAD 7400 for $65 off of Craigslist. It had some crackle (after I got it home of course) so I Deoxited it but the crackle is still there. Prolly the cold solder issue that infects some NADs. So now I have a low risk ($65)/ high reward project & I'm good with that. I liked the sound of the NAD with the Monitor 70's when it wasn't crackling. Appreciate all the suggestions; there are certainly ample opportunities if the NAD can not be rehabilitated.
