So right now I have a Polk rt3000p. Problem is I think it's starting to have some issues and it seems like I will need to send it in for service. I'm not sure whether or not the problem can be fixed, but let's assume it can and it's somewhere around $100 to fix it.
I've been considering just buying a new sub for the past week or two, and my budget is generally somewhere around $400 for what I would spend max on a new sub. The 2 that have caught my eye are the Klipsch rw-12d and the Polk dswpro 660wi. I've seen the Klipsch on sale at newegg for $350, and the Polk for $400.
Which route would you recommend I take? Repair the rt3000p or just pick up one of the newer subs? If the rt3000p is definitely a better sub than the other 2, I would probably send it off for service. But if the newer subs are better, I would rather just sink that ~$100 into the budget for a new one.
