Polk Lsim 707 Set vs Klipsch Rf-7 set 5.1

Hey guys i really need a help about home cinema..i have JL f113 subwoofer; Krell tas Power 5x200 and Onkyo 5509 processor..

I think to buy Polk 707 front ,706c center and 702fx surround or Klipsch Rf-7 front ,Rc 64 center and Rs-62 surround..

Which set i need to buy for mostly movie and multichannel concert..

Really need help tell me which one better and why

You do understand this is a Polk website. May be a little bias here. Probably the same at Klipsch site. I would go Polk. Best to listen for yourself with that kind of investment.

For mostly Home Theater and mutichannel concert I'd go klipsch without a doubt. Make sure you get the RF7II's over the originals. The Klipsch are cleaner, more dynamic and gives you that movie like sound at home.

I do think the LSIm series would be a better choice for music playback. All in all both have there strengths and weaknesses and you should get your ears on both.

They are both really good choices . I have not heard the LSim's with theater but with music and they are very nice , detailed and very clear. I really enjoyed my time with them. Klipsch on the other hand I have heard with both many times and personally I would go that route especially for a theater first system. Not many speakers on the planet can recreate dynamic range like Klipsch can. They are amazing and down right scary when replaying theater sound.
Either way you go , you will have one hell of a system.

Why not compare the Klipsch with the Polk RTI-A9's...they are current and made for HT.

I'd go Klipsch myself since it's mainly HT and multi channel concerts, however the Lsim's are very nice and I'd choose them if it were going to be used more for music. Demo both and see what you prefer, I doesn't matter what anyone on here thinks it just matters what you like the best.

FYI... 50% of movie theaters in US use Klipsch speakers. but the lsim look way better than the boxy looking speakers.

I'd also look at Definitive technology. Very dynamic and clean also. Better at music than the rf7's but not giving up much in the HT department.

I was out in Chicago a few years ago , loved it there by the way. Thats about as close as I have been to your neck of the woods. If I ever get out that way again , I'd love to make a stop by and calibrate your system.

That's a freaking fantastic system! Giving the fact that you have tile floors, which are very lively sounding, I think you made the right choice going with the LSiMs over the Klipschs and the RTiAs.
