This amp looks like a beast but the wps is low for the 100lb or so it weighs. I am thinking of maybe selling my anthem 200 wpc amp

I've done Proceed with Martin Logan speakers in some very high end theater and they are remarkable sounding powerful amps.

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time.
Proceed made solid gear no doubt. They compete with most any high end amps. Stop looking at watts per channel as your guide. As far as if it's better than your Anthem, only you can decide that.
That said, I've only heard their 2 channel stuff. Reminded me somewhat of the Brystons as far as SQ goes. Lots of balls, snappy in the mids and lows, extended highs but could get a tad grainy or harsh at the very upper frequencies. Just my observations and could also be due to associated gear. Probably been 4 years since I had an ear on them. You'd be hard pressed to fault their amps in any regard, built like a tank too.
I own the Proceed AMP5 and use it to drive my HT.

Lots of power and solid as a Rock.

This is like having 5 separate AMPS with this beast.

I recently broke into the Proceed ranks, & I can tell you without hesitation it is the best sounding amp I've ever owned.
I have the Amp2, but I believe they are the same, the Amp5 having 3 more channels.
They are true seperate amps, the amp5 having 5 separate amps inside.
