Crazy stuff. I know that the asteroid that is supposed to fly by us today is missing earth by 15 minutes. I wonder if that was a piece of that.
Scientists confirmed that the asteroid over Russia is NOT related to the 45m one that's supposed to buzz Earth.
Soon we'll be hearing that "God is punishing Russian for xxxx". As a Christian, all that BS steams me every time some loon says that...
George, could you let us know if dogs and cats start sleeping together in central park?
Don't know if the spelling is right but remember the Tunguska blast? Scary!
Does anyone know the bearing for aiming a telescope at this thing from the middle of Illinois?
Yeah, that fast moving ball of fire in the sky.....turn that a way.![]()
Did you see the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man also during those days?
I heard the world really did end on 12/21/12 and the government is covering it up.
They have no way of knowing if there is any relation, unless it came from a completely different direction. While coincidences do happen, it does seem reasonable that two, or more pieces of space rock, could originate from the same source, and be traveling in close proximity to each other. There is no law of physics that says objects in space must be alone. What is really interesting is that it also occurred in Siberia. What is so great about Siberia that meteors are attracted to and explode there?

I like to think the Tunguska Event was caused by Nikola Tesla having a "Hey, watch this !" moment using his Wardenclyffe Tower (a little too much bias on the flux capacitor ?).
It appears Mr. Grand knows a little bit too much about this latest Russian event. I think somebody should contact Homeland Security.
I am surprised at the lack of Bruce Willis jokes in this thread. I mean....come on? This is clearly a publicity stunt for the latest "Die Hard" movie, which conveniently takes place in Russia.![]()
Here's some footage.
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!
A bright meteor also blasted through the skies above the San Francisco Bay Area tonight. This was taken on southbound Interstate 280, heading towards San Jose....
