I've seen some that were cheap cheap. But cheap cheap cheap are hard to find Amazon for new I guess, the prices aren't bad and selection is top notch. We have a few local renter stores that also sell used. That could be good if you're into movies. Most places will exchange if scratched. I buy a lot of concerts on blu, hard to find them used anywhere. I'm sure some others will chime in that may be of more help for your location. I'm in Canada so what to hell do I know. Anyway, blu-ray shopping is FUN so have a good time falcon...

You can usually find older releases, 6 months or so, at Target for $15 or less. Every once in a while even Best Buy has fairly good deals. I go to both places about every oher week or so. About half the time I find something I don't already own.

New releases I say Wal-Mart they keep them around $20 or less on most. Amazon a great place to pick 1 mo or older titles, the shipping does add up if your buying more than one.

Unfortunately not but I paid $ 26.99 at best buy for the CD Blu-Ray version whole lot of entertainment at that price for the Zeppelin Fan. I have watched it a few times.

Be an Amazon Prime member. I constantly buy a few CDs and Bluerays every week, and they ship it out free. It doesn't take many purchases before you recover the cost of Prime, and you cannot beat the convenience. I love coming home and find new CDs and Bluerays waiting.

Try searching your local Craigslist. I've seen some great deals on there.

    Amazon is having a sale.

Never mind. Most are regular DVDs. Sort of deceptive the way they have it titled.

I've done this a couple times. It takes a while to get them back but it's one of the cheapest alternatives i've found. Small selection to choose from to get you started.

^^ I've done the DVD2Blu thing before. Works pretty click. I chose to send in discs that I already had the DVD (essentially just trading the DVD for a BR). But then I realized you can actually send them ANY dvd and they will send you a BR of your choice. I guess that could be a good way to get rid of crappy DVD's that you will never watch (or raid the $1 store and buy a bunch of cartoon DVD's and send those in instead). I actually forgot about that site. I'm gonna go over there now and see whats new

Amazon is the best for blurays and if you have prime you can get them to the door faster than netflix. The used ones are best especially when it comes to 3D

Sales at Best Buy, previously viewed from Blockbuster, sometimes Pawn Shops, on a average I pay $6-7, most I can remember paying was $14 on Christmas sale for Prometheus 3D.

...ok now what about blank BluRay discs??? I'm reading conflicting reports on quality of different brands.

I used to swear by Taiyo Yuden for CD and DVD... not sure who makes good BR's.
