rt25i tweeter model #?

does anyone know the model # of the tweeters in the RT25i? SL6501 ?
I found a set on CL and need to replace the tweeter in my SRT.

It's a shame that some of Polk's schematics show the model number, and others (like the RT25i) don't. I will try to remember to pull one out of mine during my lunch break today to check the number for you. I don't believe it's the SL6501 though--that was used in the earlier models such as the RT7.

Original tweeter on RT25i is part number BD0125-W and has been replaced by part number RD6514-3.
The replacement is a silk dome tweeter.
SRT uses either SL6501 or SL6500 tweeter so not sure what their actual part numbers are.
Call Polk CS and they should know the part numbers.

ugh... I'd hate to hear an RT25i with silk tweeters...

Yeah, i can imagine; it must really suck to own a model like that.

In all seriousness though. Good luck, I know I've had a hard time finding a MW6511 for my 1C's, and passives to match SRS 2's, I can only imagine parts for the SRT.

Bought a pair of RT/FX on CL last night and lucky for me, they use the same SL6500. So now I have enough backup tweeters for my SRT. But it's still impossible to find replacement for the woofer (2 ohms MW5805 / 5807). Woofers in the RT/FX are MW5806 are 4 ohms, even though they look the same.

Does anyone know what other speakers use MW5805/5807? RT3? M3 ?
