adcom 7805 question

this is a risky prop but saw an adcom 7805 on craigslist it wold bee 600 shipped to me but the ls is out would it be worth it to fix or just spend 1600 on one off ebay?

Well...you would be rolling the dice. *YOU* have to decide how much you are willing to gamble.
Me...I would take the shot and hope for the best. But I can almost guarantee you that unless half the guts of that beast are cooked, you won't be $1000 into a repair.
