Source volume difference

Hi, have been using my Surroundbar 3000 for almost 2 years now.
Usually I just used the optical cable connected to my TV and every signal passed through the TV.
Now I changed my connections.
TV is connected through the earphones TV output to source 2.
Blue Ray reader is connected with the optical cable to source 1.
When I switch from source 1 to source 2 there is a very big difference in the volume level.
Is there any way to get the two volume to a similar level ?
It is a pain to have to change it every time !

Hello chris2k,
Which ever one of the two sources that has a variable output (let's say the TV, as an example) use it to adjust the two different levels. If the TV plays louder than the player then use it's variable output to lower it's signal to the SB. If the player is louder, on the other hand, use the TV's variable output to raise it's level to match the player.

It was a noobies question btw...just realized that I had to higher the volume through the TV.
