    Question Sub for 03 Tahoe

    I have a 03 Tahoe w/ Factory CD and Polk speakers in all four doors. I want to add some type of small sub in the rear and not give up the small amount of cargo space I have now. I noticed a endention in the left rear panel in the cargo area that looks like it is for a factory 8 inch sub. I am not looking to shake the windows with lots of watts but simply enhance the factory CD player with a rear sub. It sounds like all my sound is up front and nothing in the back. Any suggestions?     the new momo 8" sounds right
    dont know the model number
    but go to
    www.polkaudio.com/car
    on the right theres a side bar with all their speakers listed
    click on Polk/MOMO
    itll be in there somewhere

    this is what I did with the 02 Tahoe...just modified the existing box...sub would not just fit.... going to re-make the whole thing sinc eht stock one is kinda cheezy....but the pic gives ya an idea of what you have to work with..

    good luck...

    btw..you could also get the 1024..wich only needs .66 if you want to modify the box

    i said ill have pics in a couple of weeks a couple of weeks ago...lol
    im getting some speaker wire today which will let me put the end cap back on one of the amps, i need to cut the power wire...and install the other cap

    heh, i was planning on finishing last weekend...
    ill get it done sometime before the end of march...thats my new goal...lol

    egh..well i have a pretty good excuse...last september i dislocated my knee...it popped back in on its own
    its getting warmer now so its startin to feel better
    ill try and finish it up sometime next week if i have time
