I just received/ purchased a refurbished speaker from polk direct on eBay. When I took the speaker out of the box I heard rattling coming from inside the speaker. I think one of the tweeters is just giving off static. That is the top one on the speaker. What else should I be hearing? Is there a way to pull the bottom port to get inside to see what is loose in there? Thank for any help you can give.

You say when you pulled the speaker out of the box you heard rattling? Do you hear rattling when your playing music? I bet the tube from the power port got jarred loose during shipping if you hear something moving around. Look in the port and see if the tube is still in place. I own a pair of A5's nice set of speakers you have there.
