where you at many folks around you have done work on these and would more than likely help.
Will try to post a few pics later on the "inner guts" of these things, maybe someone will see something that looks "a miss"
Good luck. There are some smart folks around here with some keen eyse. Take good pictures and provide detailed escriptions. I bet someone around here can help you get fixed up.
Contact VR3 here on the forum. He specializes in rebuilding crossovers and folks who have used his services seem very satisfied.

Thanks all
gonna try to post a few pics, 'this will be fun"...
Good deal it worked
Is there a "spec" sheet page available that identifies these parts?
right/wrong pic angles?
Poly switch is the little tan disc thing above the yellow caps in the top picture on the top right it might say something like RDO or RDX and then some numbers. Those numbers tell what amperage it trips at. That is most likely the problem. You can replace with a mills resistor 1/2ohm 12 watt I believe or jump the circuit with a small piece of wire after you remove the poly switch. Some have just twisted so both legs touch like a bread tie.
This part?

Got it THANKS!! I thought that was it...
Anything look "out of wack" to you??

nope ....just old electrolytic caps that are past their prime IF they ever had a prime..
good poly film caps and better resistors would go a long way towards making them super sweet. Its a good amount of money to invest but 1000% worth every penny... just don't try to get by with cheap caps to save money.
may I ask "good amount of money" ballpark guess???
Mr. pitdogg2 THANK you for the info!!!
Even better with this post, I'm now 1/2 to getting in the stuff for sale room!!!!
Something looks possibly awry here. Closer pic of this maybe?
