    Default Daughters Best friend At College

    Would appreciate prayers for daughters best freind Leah Smith in Indy hospital. Awful heart condition, 2nd transplant doesn't look like a viable option. FYI, Leah was the first ever recepient for a heart transplant thru the Carrol Shelby Foundation. She was 2 days old when she got her transplant, she'll be 22 at the end of the month

    Tell her the French toast is decent as is the ham, assuming she's not in a full liquid diet. If that's the case I recommend the chicken broth with salt and Popsicles.

    Been to that hospital many times. Hopefully she has her own room.

    Thanks, I copied and pasted your comment and sent it to her. They did give her a private room. she's on 900 calorie diet and hating it. She tried to have my duaghter sneak her a snack today, that did NOT go well!!!

    Good, was in there 3 times last year, each time for a week plus. Private room is a VERY GOOD THING. Hope things turn around for her and hopefully what they will let her eat isnt too bad.

    Tell your daughter to make sure to NOT snack in front of her, it would piss me off when folks would bring in a nice big snack or meal I couldnt eat .
