Yikes. And I thought we had it bad because we still have 2 feet on the front lawn and another 6 inches coming tonight.
At least here in Massachusetts, it should melt off by the end of the month.

There exists, for everyone, a sentence - a series of words - that has the power to destroy you. Another sentence exists, another series of words, that could heal you. If you're lucky you will get the 2nd, but you can be certain of getting the 1st. - Philip K. Dick

Thats nuts!
I can remember living in Henderson KY, as a kid, and my mom having to call the neighbor to come shovel out the front door.
We could not get out of the house.
7 foot snow drifts.
That is truly a beautiful sight! For us it's starting again tomorrow.....just in time to put a fresh cover of snow on the snowmobile trails. Thank you snow Gods!!

Hey Red,
By the looks of things, time to tunnel out a nice 2 bedroom igloo and rent it out for a few bucks....'till spring anyway.
Not warm here in the NW by any stretch but I mowed the lawn today...
Thanks all for the heart felt empathy you've shown as you discuss how tall your grass is and the last time you mowed. That's what I like about this place, if you trip and fall, there's always someone who'll bend over and...kick ya a few timesFunny thing, last year it was 21c on St. Paddy's Day and we're walking around in shorts. Global warming must have taken a year off.

Man, that hurts. And it's beautiful. And it hurts.

Ya know Mike, you post one more pic of that frickin' beautiful place you live and I'm gonna personally fly out there just to slap you upside the head. After I go surfing of course.
Love ya bro.![]()
Sure thing Ken, might have to make a stop on the way for a Texas fly swatter first.
I would've loved to have asked this guy what he was doing on the road that day...

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

That picture is a bit misleading I'm afraid. :) Winnipeg has only gotten 5 feet total of snow ALL winter. What everyone is seeing is the hill from shoveling the driveway. The right angle and I can make my house look the same. Some citizens have drifts and hills 10 feet high in some areas from it blowing.
We certainly have no where to put it...
