    Default Sealed Enclosures

What are the sonic benefits of speakers with sealed enclosures and no passive radiator? I am getting a pair of older B&W DM610s soon. They are 4 ohm and bi-ampable.

Sealed enclosures tend to be tighter, require more power and won't dig quite as deep as a ported enclosure or enclosure with a passive radiator.

There is more to it than that, but that's the simple explanation.

Ok, thanks for the responses. Sounds like they are gonna need some power.
