    Agree 100%

Havn't used this unit, but looks like the cheapest vacuum unit out there. Looks like it does exactly what my nitty gritty does at half the price. Again, I havn't tried either unit, but I would definitely recommend this at $199 vs spinclean at $120.

Last makes a heavy vinyl cleaner in a little bottle with a brush that I would put up against most machines when used properly. Their vinyl preservative also gets rave reviews.

Bottom line....crappy sounding recordings are crappy sounding no matter what the weight of the vinyl.
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

The old lipstick on a pig analogy. But hey, we can't talk politics here!
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

I own a few Japanese Universal 200 gram LP pressings and they are all excellent recordings. I use them to showcase my vinyl playback. They were $40 when I was buying them and when they went up to $50 it was like making love in the sand; I didn't want to stop but had to.

On the subject of pressings, sometimes the out of country are better quality.

I have many Holland, German and Japanese pressings that have better SQ than what was available in US. One example is Rush’s Moving Pictures. The Holland and Japanese pressings sound better than the Robert Ludwig US pressing. Steve Hoffman forums are a good source for pressing quality regardless of weight.
