Default My audio rack--the final configuration.

Well "almost" the final. One of the SAE amps that was restored also got a blue LED upgrade to try out. I like the look of it so I ordered LED kits for the rest of the amplifiers.

I'll have to update the showcase sometime. Not shown here is the Epson 8500 UB and the Carada 100" screen.

Very Nice. Looks like your own control room. How do you manage power for all of that? Looks like pretty close to two dozen cords.

Very, very nice. Only piece of advice I have for you is not to use the word "final." My experience, although on a meager budget compared to your setup, is that even when you think you're finished, you're never finished!
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

They will ALL be blue LED's. There's a guy in Michigan who repairs and restores amplifiers and he builds custom LED kits to replace the bulbs. He restored that particular amplifier with the blue LED's. It's the SAE 2600 rated at 400 wrms/channel. That one is running the lows on the SRS while the SAE 2500 runs the highs (bi-amp configuration).

There are 4 dedicated circuits in back. The rack is built into the wall and opens up to a storage room in back. Very very easy access to all the wiring. Since I have to take down all the amps again to install the blue LED's, I'll wait to take a picture of the back since I'd like it to look all neat and organized...which it is not at the moment.

Spiffy set-up Joe Joe, did you buy the rack mounts new or are they recycled from a center of some sort? Those have to be around 7' tall right? They must be heavy as hell, right? When you say they have their own built fans, you mean the racks, right? If so, 2 per racks minimum I would imagine (flow in /flow out fans)? Not too noizy?

I am and SAE collector / restorer as well. Did you custom build the racks in your picture? I bought a 56" rack from Sanus last year. It is well made. However I should have purchased the larger one. Now I need two or three. The has to be a less expensive approach.
