Thumbs down GoT Season 3 - Audio Popping

For those of you who have been watching this season of Game of Thrones - have you noticed any audio anomalies? The sound on the previous two seasons has been excellent, but on this season I have noticed that when there is a sudden loud sound, there will be a popping/clicking type noise that comes through the speakers. It reminds me of some sort of clipping/limiter issue with a microphone or mixing board - like they didn't place the peak limiter correctly and as a result when a loud sound happens it clips and a harsh pop/click is heard. It was especially evident in last night's episode intense swordfight scene.

My HT setup hasn't changed over the course of the last two seasons so it's not that. Everything else sounds flawless on my setup.

    So, anyone else noticed this?

I have not noticed this on this season. However, I have noticed it on some of my Dish channels, I think HBO2/3 does this sometimes. It is annoying, but I think it's a channel issue and not a show issue, which HBO are you recording the season off of? Dish/cable?

It's just the regular "HBO HD" channel - Comcast cable.

Bump. Anyone else notice this on their feed?

Especially noticeable on the wall scene, and the very next scene with the trumpet blaring.

Update: Looks like it's a known issue.

"I got a call from Directv yesterday telling me they were closing my case so I called back to raise hell and they informed me that they did hear back from 3 engineers actually that were able to replicate the issue based on the information I provided them and didn't believe it was on their end. They are in contact with HBO/Cinemax and working on the issue. From my understanding its a dBS problem as some have suggested and they need to turn it down from either their end of the signal that they receive from HBO and Cinemax. They are going to monitor some of the other movies I provided to them and hopefully begin to work on a fix between the two companies."
