    That's a real beauty, Randy.

According to Hifi Engine it weighs about 22 lbs. And puts out 35 watts x 2 @ 8 ohms. Also comes in a Black front version, but I like this version better. How does it sound? Should be pretty good!

    Nice find!

It sounds very nice with the KLH's. when i brought it in i hooked it to a spare montor 4 i have. Then i hooked them to the old KLH's and they will stay hooked to them. Very clean on FLOYD & BENATAR..i almost passed on the speakers. But i turnt around n went back n put them in car. One grill is been attacked by a cat. Lol. LIGHT on left meter is out. Otherwise perfect....

What model KLH are those? It's a little hard to tell from the woofer which has a dark surround? I have a pair of KLH 17s (two way 10" with the same tweeters); very very nice sounding and in the "permanent" collection. Have to thank John, (fellow Polkie and Henry Kloss fan) for that pair! I've always loved the Kloss sound, that's why I also have a pair of his last effort for Cambridge Soundworks--the CSW Model Six.

KLHs are so "smooth", "sweet" and easy to listen to!

    Enjoy!

Model SIX's are very nice speakers. I had a pair and sold them to a forum member. Very nice Kloss design. Nice pickups. I would have passed on the turntable but would enjoy that receiver too.

Last month I sold the KLH Model 6 that I bought new in 1974/ with the real wood cabinets, to Hewlew1 here on the forum. My first real decent pair of speakers. I also sold those Rotels at the same time I got the KLH's, at the same place I got the KLH. I would have passed on the Garrard table myself, but this morning I couldn't pass on the Garrard "Music Recovery Module" MRM-101 made in England. An active little processor of some sort with a din "In", two RCA's "In", two RCA's "Out", and a ground post.

Hey George, When I told the crowd that I picked up some ADC 303ax you seemed quite pleased w/ my find .To me they sound like and I've said this before w/ a very AR2 type of east coast sound. Is there any real difference between these and the KLH 6s in this thread. I have seen them come up before and now would think it would be a latteral move at best and to similar to go after.
Again this could be all subjective but seeing how many speeks you own you should know the pro and cons of each and again even for free w/my limited space I do not think I would get them.

They are both sweet. I think all by myself, that the ADC has more/deeper low end. It's also the kind of surround that can't ever leak unless perforated, as opposed to the fabric/paper type surround on the Model 6 which CAN become porous. HOW porous? I don't know, but an awful lot of 6 freaks try and seal it with all kinds of goop. I never re-sealed mine because I never perceived a change in performance. Over time, I probably wouldn't.
