Default What is L+R mono switch on amp?

    Hello,

I have a 2 channel clarion amp that I want to use for a subwoofer. It has three possibilities for output.

    stereo, bridged, and L+R mono

I was wondering if anyone could explain the l+r mono. Is that only for bridging or can i use that with both channels and get an output signal sum of both left and right?

    Thanks

From what i am going to guess is the L+R Mono means the amp when switched to L+R Mono the left & right channels become mono channels not stereo so it is like listening to a single channel but with 2 different channels, and the bridge output is what you want to use for the subwoofer.
Giving a model # of the amplifier would of helped a lil more, but i am taking a wild guess at the L+R Mono!
