    Default Newbie ?

    Hello new here. I can get a complete set with the polk audio cs400,two fx500,and two rt100p for $300. I know they are very old but in good shape is this a good deal?

    I only have experience with the cs400. I bought new and it sounds great. Just make sure you give it clean power. Welcome to CP.

    Thanks I have a Yamaha rx a3010. Will be used 70% HT 30% music.

    That is one of the best-voiced speaker lines Polk ever produced. They are great for any purpose and are well worth the $300. Be aware that the plate amps on the towers might need some additional work as the caps in them are known to go bad by this point.

    Thanks for the info are the amps hard to replace or get fixed? I also hear I do not have to use the amp anything on how to hook them up thi ess way?
