Default Polk fx surround new transmitters

Has anyone got the new updated transmitters for the Polk F/X wireless surround speaker and does it work better than old one??

We did a complete redesign of the new transmitter.
There were two issues that were addressed:

    1) Increased the time for the delayed turn off timer.
The new transmitter will stay on for 27 minutes whereas the original one had a time of 13 to 17 minutes.
    2) Eliminated the turn off the slight popping of the internal relay when the transmitter would go to sleep.

Hello just got my f/x surround last night and the box doesn't say "Series 2" indicating the upgraded transmitter that had problems? Are all the transmitters upgraded? Thanks

    Hi Danny,
Where was it purchased from? The new transmitters have been in production for over 2 years now.

Thanks Kim, I just received it from Amazon and it was not from one of their sellers because I know not all are Polk reps.

It may not be a issue I have not tested it yet but from reviews on Amazon they said the updated transmitters sticker was on the box when they received it. Thanks

Kim one more question? Will it hurt to set my speaker up by my Pioneer Auto setup or should I do it manually?

Run the auto set up and see what it sets the levels to.You can always over ride it.
We recommend setting the rear surround speakers level 4 to 6 dB higher to compensate for the lower floor placement.
