    Default Fire lock box recommendations

Since it'll be a while before I get the gun safe I really want, I was hoping to get some input in regards to a quality fire lock box for important document storage. I'll keep all the house paperwork, passport, birth certificate, etc there, so I'm looking for something incredibly reliable no matter the temperature.

I think I'd prefer something manual versus digital in regards to the locking mechanism. Past that, I am wide open to feedback.

    Thanks.

I use a Sentry 1100. Nothing fancy, but should do the job it's made for. Keyed lock, portable, made in the USA... Can find them just about anywhere. However it's not made to be "theft proof." The lock can be broken fairly easily. Fine with me, because if the house burns down, I might not be able to find the key anyway. They've got some more expensive models that are also waterproof and more secure.

Good intel. I'm also not looking for theft proof. More just something that will hold up in a disaster. Anyone else had good luck with a particular brand/model?
