    Default Yamaha RX-360 Stereo Receiver

Hi. I'm not happy with my Sherwood receiver and I want to try out a Yamaha RX-360 that I found. I'm able to audition the receiver before I buy it, but I have one concern. The specs say it is rated for 50Hz to 20kHz. Does this mean it will be lacking bass?

No. It will be lacking in deep bass. This is an indication to me of a piece that was designed to operate safely with it's own speakers and a powered sub. You see that 40-20,000 stuff all the time with those pkg systems, but this is a first for me with 50-20,000. Pass all day long.

I tried to give an RX-350, which is similar, away here on the forums a while back but ended up going to a local thrift store. It is a feather weight receiver with ok sound but not much drive.
