Default Pairing older Polks with Newer Polks (RTI A7s)

Hey guys, I have a pair of Polk RTI A7s powered by a Pioneer Elite VSX21 that I love.

I came across a pair of what I think are Polk RT3s, a Polk Center channel (same vintage) and a PSW100 sub for a pretty low price.

Would these make a decent pairing with the newer RTIs assuming they are in good shape?

    Thanks!

I'd just get the matching CSI a6 and call it the day.

Thanks guys, I will consider it.

but I will just say, that speaker alone costs over double what I am going to pay for all 4 of those speakers plus an old Yamaha receiver and speaker wire.

I was saying I will consider the CSI A6, but it's price is double all 4 of the speakers that I am looking at (2 RT3s, center, and sub)

The csi a6 is a good match. May be a better match for thise you already have if you can find one at a better price ?

As already mentioned csi a6 is your best bet if you really care about your sound.

Do it right on the front end and you will be the better for it in the end.

I would do the a6. having a matching front three IMO is one of the most important parts. Surrounds are not as much of a big deal. The a6 cost what it does because its worth it.

The other posters have you set right, the speakers your looking at will not blend well with the RTI's and that sub isn't worth a deck of cards in my book. There's a reason why all 4 speakers cost less than the center channel suggested. Re-think that purchase, save your bottle caps, and buy a used a6 for a lot less than new. Also, whats the need for the vintage receiver ?
