The vinyl "countertop" wrap on my RT600's was peeling up real bad around the edges. So I took the drivers out, removed the Polk badge and pulled the wrap off completely. After getting down to bare MDF, I attempted to sand it down to remove all the leftover glue. I thought I had gotten all of the glue but after putting down the first coat of primer, it's clear that I didn't.
Should I sand it back down and start over. Or after another coat of primer and about 3 coats of latex, will those glue imperfections still be noticeable? This is the first time I've done anything like this besides painting walls, so forgive my ignorance. If you have any tips, please share them.
