    It's the closest to tube sound with solid state bass :)

    Was waiting for you to respond. The pass labs amps are one of the very few ss amps on my list. I heard Ron's system using pass and the same usher md2 with a melody pre. It was quite an experience. Every system I've heard with pass in the chain has been nothing short of exceptional.

    It's less "hi-fi" and more "natural" sounding than a typical solid state amp.
