I currently have a nice low profile TV stand for my 60" LED, but the major problem is the bottom of the stand is 4 drawers for game storage and whatever else (I was rushed in this purchase and it was a steal for the quality). The drawers are not see-through. The big and obvious issue here is I cannot place consoles, receiver, and center speaker inside that area. They have to be either on top, on a shelf above, or maybe a media rack next to the stand. I am going to explore the option of taking the drawers out to make room for the center speaker at least, but I think the supports are too narrow to fit anything like that in there.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a modern glossy black TV stand that has ample shelf space below the TV to fit a CS400i? How do you guys typically set up that center speaker? It's pretty big and you have to really pick the right stand to fit that thing properly. My TV is free-standing (not mounted on the wall or hanger), so it comes pretty low to the TV stand and the CS400 in front of it would block a lot of the picture. Is it even safe to put the TV on top of the CS400? It sounds not safe, haha. I was thinking of mounting a shelf right above the TV for the CS400i. Any thoughts on that? Any links to products you may already be using?
Ideally, I just want my ps3, xbox, denon and cs400 all to fit under the TV. I prefer a clean, sleek, modern glossy black look. If anyone has anything they are using and loving it, please suggest. Also, I think paying over $500 is just stupid for a TV stand, so I am looking below that price point, but feel free to change my mind if you are using something that's 100% what I am looking for.
