For me, it was just the opposite. Some douche left me neg feedback because the receiver I sold him was previously refurbished. The auction photos clearly showed the refurbished label, etc. He got it and had buyers remorse. Tried to extort a lower price, I said send it back (on his dime) and I would refund minus shipping. He didn't like that so he left negative and filed a claim. Even though I was clearly in the right (listing was very descriptive, with lots of photos) and the buyer never claimed that there was any damage or functional problems, Ebay sided the claim with him. They gave him a free return shipping label. I waited 2-weeks and it never came back. The buyer decided to keep it after all that. Eventually Ebay overturned the claim (because he didn't send it back), but they would not remove the wrongful negative feedback from my account. It is still there as an ugly blemish on my otherwise perfect feedback.
^^^ no need for BS like that. I would not be happy as a seller--free label?that must be why sellers are getting bigger charges
