Cold weather has been following me lately. Went to Denver this past weekend and all the relatives out there could talk about was how it was usually so much nicer, but it was a really strange cold snap. Well, came back home this week and it simply followed me back.

The people that make such predictions warned that it was going to be a very cold winter. So far, they're right.

Of course it has to be windy when it gets this cold, doesn't it?

I agree, even here on the mild west coast of Canada (2.5 hours north of Seattle) it's been dipping to -5 Celcius at night...not typical for this area.

Earliest with below zero temps since 1995 . Saturday night a college coed was dropped off at her house at midnight and was found the next day at nine am . She never made it into her place. Might loose some hands or feet. Such a sad outcome from a night of drinking? Peace. D

Remember Sam Kinison's comedy routine on world hunger? Substitute "deep freeze" for "desert". Questions?

I have a feeling we're in for a very strange Winter this year. I've been predicting to my friends that Southern Az wil see record snowfalls this year; of course that means anything over 4"....LOL

I will the cold over heat anytime. I would rather my amps act as space heaters than have to run the AC just to listen to music. Plus it keeps the neighbors inside, which means no outside stereos blasting.

-28c here tonight, -38 with the wind chill. I insulated my HT room in the basement for sound, a side benefit of that is being able to heat that area with my Panny plasma :)
