I believe the forum is out of date, maybe it was the last server back-up after the hardware up-date. We have to remember all the threads lost at this days...

Why the webmaster don't made a backup before to update the hardware?
mmmm... I think it was not a programmed task, it smell that was a hardware crash and was an "obligated update". When a server is going to be turned down normally you back-up all your files. mmmm... probably the hard disk had a failure and no body did the daily backup.
It is better to said the true than to give other excuses...
Well anyway... it will be a bad experienece for every body but its not the end.
