My original set-up had the 2200s stacked in the left corner, with the polks closer to the t.v. The bass response was exceptional. However, after installing the acoustic panels I found that seperating the mains gave me a better overall sound. Especially with music. I believe that the bass response is still very good. The panels seemed to alter the bass also. Seems tighter now. I probably have some cancellation issues, but I think they're minimal.
nadams, you noticed my little invention. Playing multichannel music really makes the receiver work. So I added the fan to help with the heating problem. Seems to do the trick, and it's quiet. BTW , The rear of the AV rack usually has a cover on it. I didn't take a picture with the cover on. Its pretty ugly.
