Default Need advise on shallow mount sub

I have come to acquire a rockford p3 shallow mount sub in a rockford box. Heres the link http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-P3S-1X12.html. The sub is blown, so should I just put a p3 back in or does someone else have any advise on shallow mount subs. I want to stay with this box, because it fits behind the seat of my truck.
    Thanks
    Rob

Check out the Polk MM subs. They're pretty shallow and work very well. I've been running a pair of them for a couple of years now and love them. There are some other brands on Crutchfield that offer shallow mount subs.

Looked at those first. Must be under 4 in mounting depth. Not much room behind the rear seat in a 2001 super duty crewcab.
    Thanks

Hey, if you want something that will work for SUPER CHEAP, I have the sub below. I bought this years ago and mounted it in a box but never really used it much. Been sitting around for years. Send me a PM if interested in the driver. I'm in Crown Point, IN can send or pick it up if you are close.
