Default Polk RTA12B or SDA CRS+ as surrounds in a HT setup?

After picking up ZLTFUL's karma Polk SDA2's, I've decided to go back to an all vintage set up. As much as I enjoyed my RT55, CS400, RT1000 system, it's very clear that these speakers just aren't in the same league as the SDA2's. And to think, I haven't even heard them with the interconnect cable yet.

I have found a single Monitor 7C to use as a center speaker. It looks to be an early 7C as it uses the SL1000 tweeter(same as the SDA2's) and is fuse protected. As far as the surrounds go, I can't decide on a pair of RTA12B's with Peerless tweeters or SDA CRS+'s. The 12's are $250 and the SDA's are $150, without stands or interconnect. I'm really leaning towards the SDA's but having owned the RTA12C's at one point, I know that those are incredible speakers. But since they're being used as surrounds, I know a lot of their abilities will be irrelevant.

What is the better value here?

I'm using the CS400 right now with the SDA's and it's actually a pretty close match timbre-wise. I've used the Monitor 7C as a center along with my old RTA12C's and it was amazing. I'm still kicking myself in the arse for selling that set up. This is my chance to redeem myself.

The CRS+s will sound amazing as rears, as long as your in the sweet spot. As soon as you move off to either side, not so much. I'd go with the 12s for a 5.1, or the 12s and another 7 for a 6.1

    RTA12's

Just my opinion though, save the money and upgrade to a newer TV. Plasma or LED, 42"+.

Is that an Adcom amp I see? Still have that?

Edit: Just read your sig, you already have an LCD TV. Nevermind, that then. RTA12's all the way.
