"Everything Must Go" and to balance the new with the old "Can't Buy a Thrill" and "Countdown to Ecstasy" with some "Two Against Nature" thrown in for good measure. I've been listening to these guys since about 1972 and still like 'em!

Santana - Abraxas - 2 channel SACD

2 Points:

For everyone that got on the Santana bandwagon after the rave reviews of Supernatural with all of the "star" duos back in 1999....Unless you've gone back and listened to the early albums between 69 and 76...You haven't heard Santana. IMO nothing done lately compares to the Latin, Rock, Jazz, Blues combination that was Santana's sound in the early days.

And for everyone that says SACD is not worth the effort or the $....You don't know what you're missing!

Obviously, I REALLY enjoyed this CD tonight!

I couldn't agree more. While the recent stuff is pretty dang good, the classic stuff is phenomenal in comparison.
