Ornette Coleman...The Shape of Jazz To Come (180g vinyl)

Amazon ranked this as the #1 jazz album of all time. Not sure I agree with #1, but it is an awesome session.

Wow, I'm surprised they didn't rank Miles Davis' "Kind Of Blue" #1...

That's my personal #1. I just ordered the Columbia reissue 180g. I'm looking forward to comparing it to the original.

I remember my parents played that album often when I was a youngster, and that song and "Cotton Fields" are the ones that have been etched in my memory the most. It's my favorite CCR album...

I'll be starting this morning off as strong as my morning coffee is with one great album.

Yes, it will. I was just dancing and rocking in the middle of the living room just a short while ago on song 2 Killing in the Name like I was there at their concert again. I have seen them live a couple of times and was never disappointed. Very powerful album. Still rockin' to it as we speak.

As far as CB? Still searching, thanks.

Gonna make a rather severe swing of genre's now and start spinning the DSD of Mr. Brubeck

Thumbs up for Rage Against The Machine. How about this album of covers? Best hard rocking version of Bruce Sprinsteen's "Ghost of Tom Joad" EVER! And their cover of Maggie's Farm is unbelievable. Tom Morello ROCKS!

Frickin' blizzard today. Foot of snow already and high winds, they're predicting three to five foot drifts. Steve Young is perfect for today, one of the best voices in country music, also top songwriter who penned hits for the Eagles, Waylon Jennings and many others. Never got his full due.
