[QUOTE=Msabot1;1880505]Both rockers Let The Music Do The Talking is the one I like most...I've Got The Rock And Rolls Again is good but doesn't kick ass like let the music
Totally agree I saw The Joe Perry Project open up for Heart got both and let the music is the better of the two. I am surprised Joe recycled the title track and let Tyler do it on Done With Mirrors.

In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The Bryan Ferry Orchestra: The Jazz Age.
That little ol band from Texas that the rest of the country is rapidly discovering! 1972.... Man they kicked some serious butt back then!!
O yea..forgot to mention..that cassette thread got me looking through some old shoeboxes for a couple of live ditties I taped off MTV back in 83 or so...U2 live at Red Rocks...and a live concert by Roxy Music done in Paris...Surprisingly both play and sound as good now as back then! Simulcasts off TV...fed into my FM tuner and taped....Glad I Found These!!
Chum...I have an old LP of this...Great Record...Bus Stop, Pay You Back With Interest,Im Alive...man there is some good stuff on this...good recording too surprisingly enough! That's some good old rock on there..no wonder they had so many hits!
Don't have that one...do have Mr Tamborine Man and Turn Turn Turn though. Really like The Bells Of Rhymney a lot..Have the Kinks Greatest Hits...Guess I'll put em on for a blast into the past...love that old stuff!
Just ripped from vinyl. Now playing on 96/24 DVD-A

Thought I'd play Peter Gabriel So. Someone mentioned a bit ago that today is his B-Day...anyway haven't listened to this in a while so here goes...
Got some real nice IC's recently from Pepster. Been listening to stuff I know like the back of my hand, and I'm hearing much better separation, better tone on guitars, organ, bass, cymbals, stuff I've never heard before coming out of those speakers. And they're not even fully broke in yet.
I'm really enjoying this music.
This one was one of the albums Carlos Santana, Keith Richards and some others sort of engineered to help John Lee get more general recognition towards the end of his career. You get Albert Collins, Johnny Winter, Robert Cray, Carlos Santana, Keith Richards, Van Morrison John Hammond. One of my favorite John Lee Hooker albums. I saw John Lee in Berkeley in 1978 at the Keystone and there were maybe 50 people there at the most. He had an entourage of hot chicks with him, and it cooked.
