As if I needed any more coffee, I am having one more cup...

My little "budget" headphone rig I've assembled is an excellent sounding combo, I should have done this a long time ago...

    Here's how I'm listening to/watching this one:

Sony BDP-S580 BD player (also plays SACD's) via coaxial digital >> FiiO E17 Alpen headphone amp/dac >> AKG K240MK II

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic playing these tapes I haven't heard in years, and were either never released on CD, or they are out of print and VERY expensive if you can even find them... And this Denon is a very nice deck (model number DR-M22), it's a 3 head, full logic machine, that when new in 1984 had an MSRP of $420... And upon a bit of research the wooden side panel models appear to be somewhat rare... Hmmmmmmm, I don't know, anyone interested in a nice 'ol tape deck .........................

These cassette deck posts are inspiring me to get my tape deck out of the closet and get it working correctly. This isn't my picture, but I have this deck:

It has idler wheel issues as did many of this model of Nakamichi. I have the parts to fix it. I just haven't been motivated to do so.

Now playing: Widespread Panic - Panic in the Streets.
