This CD has a couple of bonus remixes; bonus tracks are often added onto Japanese version when released over there. However, I was informed that the domestic US CD also featured the same tracks. So, in other words, there shouldn't be any difference between the Japanese and the US versions.

Pinetop Perkins - The Complete Hightone Sessions
    2003, Hightone Records, CD

Unquestionably the master of boogie woogie piano--but, his vocals just knock me out. The real deal for blues lovers.

BTW - At age 95, he has a new album due out in June and just won a Grammy for "Last of the Great Mississippi Delta Bluesmen: Live in Dallas." That just makes me smile.

Tinsley Ellis - Fire It Up
    1997, Alligator ALCD 4852, CD

I think this offering by The Highwayman showcases the unique flavor of his vocals. Great mix of timings and tones as well.

Cherryholmes. I'm not any kind of fan of bluegrass, on the contrary, my library is mostly METAL, but there is SOMETHING about this group?
    It just gets to me.:D

This would make one kick a$$ avitar!

Jonny Lang - Long Time Coming
    2003, A&M Records, CD

"Kid" Jonny took some knocks from fans who wanted him to stay frozen in time as a 15-year old blues prodigy--but, this fan appreciates the range (vocal and guitar) on this offering. Good stuff.

Eddie Hinton - Letters From Mississippi
    1987, Zane Records, LP

One of my treasured vinyl selections. This guy was the real deal and you can hear his influence in about every southern rock/soul/blues artist since the mid 70's.

"Always told you I'd be coming back
    In a Cadillac,
More money than anybody else in town,
    Oh baby."
