John Mayer - Continuum
I really like this album. It's the best of his "pop" stuff. For those that don't know...you should try and find a copy of the "Try!" by the John Mayer Trio (live in concert). It is a whole different thing. Very good blues rock. Continuum has a hint of what he can do but you gotta give Try! a listen.

Jackson Browne - Time the Conqueror
Jackson Browne is one of only a very few artists that I buy any NEW (no greatest hits stuff) album as soon as it comes out. This one was released last week so I had to pick it up this weekend. I try to get over the politics because I enjoy the music so much. Well written lyrically and in typical Browne style, this one is very heavy on the politics (as he sees it)...but as is the norm it is also great music. I really dislike his politics...but l really love his music. Go figure...![]()
I know what I'm getting with Jackson Browne and as usual, I'm not disappointed!

Jackson Browne - Looking East
After listening to the new Browne album "Time the Conqueror" I decided to pull out another of his albums for the evening. It was one of the lesser viewed (from a critic standpoint) but one I enjoy very much. "Barricades of Heaven" is stellar. "I'm the Cat" and "Nino" are just fun tracks. Good Stuff.
