So far this AM a 4-disc Mozart set... first three small ensemble stuff, quartets, etc., with the 4th a collection of his overtures. Very nice Sunday Morning... had an free hour of sleep line up...

It's been awhile for this one. Absolutely great!
For all of those that think Rod Stewart is just stuff like "Hot Legs", "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy", "Forever Young", "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You", etc.....
He could rock in the early days! He lost that edge in the mid 70s when he went for the disco/glam/punk/balladeer/whatever sound. NEVER put out anything very good after Never A Dull Momemt IMO. If you've never heard this one GO FIND IT AND GIVE IT A LISTEN! "Maggie May" and "Every Picture Tell A Story" are worth the price of the CD by themselves.

are some of the best stuff he has put out (not including the things he did during his stint with the Jeff Beck group and Faces)
all that late 70's stuff and later im sure made him a lot of money but it was just god awful compared to his earlier work

hey for any Crimson fans there is a dvd/cd out with Steve Hackett from Genesis, Ian McDOnald and John Wetton from Crimson, and Chester Thompson from genesis/Zappa.
The did a live show together in Japan and did a ton of old Genesis and Crimson tunes as well as a lot of Hackett solo stuff. Its a really good show if you are into the old school prog as well as Hackett newer stuff.
